Leaving or Remaining There are several options for setting your security alarm to Away or Stay, depending on your subscription plan. The primary and most usual method is through the control panel of your Crime Prevention Security Systems. The Simon XT Home Control Panel is used in the majority of systems, and it is one of the most reliable security systems available. Simply press the Doors+Windows button on your panel to enter Stay mode, then tap Motions to arm Away.

I've been a Comcast/Xfinity client since cable first became accessible in Stockton, California, and I've had nothing but excellent service! However, in the last three years or so, everything has drastically deteriorated. It's difficult for me to go because I enjoy all of the alternatives and premium channels they provide. Their service calls and fees are EXTREMELY excessive!!!! But, after more than three years, I've finally determined that enough is enough. It is becoming usual to use deceptive customer service techniques to temporarily pacify me about my service. They've visited my home a total of 12 times. When I phone in (which takes at least 30 minutes to reach a live person), they put me through a drill of cold booting the system by unplugging everything in an attempt to solve it, as well as a slew of other time-consuming procedures.
If an Entry/Exit door is left open at the end of the Exit Delay, the Entry Delay begins immediately, and an alarm will ring if the system is not deactivated.
The Exit Delay is restarted if you open and close an Entry or Exit door during the Exit Delay and subsequently re-enter the premises. This will only happen once.
What is the difference between remain and away for an alarm system, one would wonder? Armed Stay is intended for when you intend to arm the system and remain at home. When you plan on arming the system and leaving the house, use Armed Away. Once again, a clever moniker. When you arm in Away Mode, no sensors are bypassed, and the complete system, including motion sensors, is armed. Similarly, how do I silence my Xfinity alarm clock?
