Given the ride's low capacity and long lineups, we're surprised it's still open; rumors of its extinction have circulated for years, but none have (sadly) come true. Pteranodon Flyers isn't worth the wait, and Universal Express isn't valid for this ride. If your children insist on riding and you've exhausted all other options, get in line as soon as the park opens or just before it shuts. IOA erected kiosks outside Camp Jurassic in 2016 that dispense timed return tickets for Pteranadon Flyers, similar to those used for peak-season Wizarding World access. When it's in use, you'll need to get a return ticket to ride; the overall wait time for your turn ride won't be any less than it was before, but your kids will be able to play in the caves instead of waiting in the standby line.

At Islands of Adventure, the mother and boy were stranded 25 feet up on the Pteranodon Flyers. Universal spokesperson Tom Schroder claimed that Orlando Fire was "called to help assist" them off the ride. The Pteranodon Flyers is a family-friendly ride that transports riders in a seat suspended from a track that circles the Jurassic Park region, similar to a ski lift.

In a few years, it could be obsolete. All of the attractions were enjoyable. It helps if you've seen the movies before. Jaws had closed, which was disappointing, but I'm excited to see what's next. We were irritated by the Express pass folks who could cut in front of us because we didn't want to pay so much for a family of five. Reading about the attractions that have come and gone, it appears that they are always changing things up to keep things interesting. I wouldn't take a child under the age of 9 since they'd be bored, save in the one children's area with the large water play set.

Do it only if (1) your child requests it, (2) you want a prehistoric bird's-eye perspective of the Jurassic Park property, or (3) you've visited the park a dozen times and this is the final ride to conquer. People with disabilities should: Wheelchair users must transfer to a ride vehicle. Crowds are almost always present, and because the ride is sluggish to load, wait times can be lengthy. On your first visit, skip this.
To wait for your turn to ride, you can now use the Virtual Line Pass. This is advantageous because it might be extremely popular, resulting in lengthy wait periods.
